Protect Nigeria's dying Christians

Nigeria. Persecuted Christians. Petition: Save Christian teen Leah Sharibu.

ACLJ:

"TODAY is kidnapped Christian teen Leah Sharibu's 18th birthday, but there is no cause for celebration. Islamic terrorists stole her childhood.

Leah was one of 110 schoolgirls who were violently abducted by the Islamic militia Boko Haram in 2018. The terrorist group refused to release Leah because she wouldn't renounce her Christian faith.

Now she's spent FOUR BIRTHDAYS AS A HOSTAGE.

And it's been reported that Leah recently gave birth to her SECOND CHILD while in the captivity of these sadistic monsters.

Kidnapped. Held prisoner. Forced to carry two children. All before the age of 18. Imagine for a moment it was your daughter. It's a human rights travesty.

The Nigerian government has done almost nothing to save her. Leah and her innocent babies remain the prisoners of murderous terrorists.

THE WORLD SHOULD BE OUTRAGED.

We have delivered written submissions and I recently delivered an oral intervention directly to the U.N. demanding action for Leah and her babies. And we're preparing to make another submission later this month urging protection for all of Nigeria's persecuted Christians, to help ensure no other Christians have to go through what Leah has experienced.

Pray for Leah's freedom, for her two babies currently in the clutches of evil, and all of Nigeria's persecuted Christians.

Be their voice. Sign our petition."

ACLJ on Nigeria:

"Protect Nigeria’s Dying Christians from Brutal Persecution Christians in Nigeria live in a constant state of terror, fearing abduction, torture, and murder by radical Islamic jihadists.

Boko Haram, the jihadist army and Nigerian arm of ISIS, has slaughtered innocent Christians. It burns down Christian churches. One survivor stated, “I saw bodies in the street. Children and women, some were crying for help.” It even poses as preachers to slaughter Christian congregants.

Other jihadist groups, like the Fulani Herdsmen, are increasing this barbaric persecution of Christians in Nigeria, slaughtering thousands.

We have an obligation to act. We’re drastically expanding our Persecution Project. We’re launching a multi-pronged legal advocacy campaign, urging the U.N., U.S., and world leaders to take urgent action.

We’ve mobilized our global offices, continuing to expand our most extensive campaign for the persecuted Church ever undertaken, preparing numerous legal memoranda, advocacy letters, and policy proposals.

Together we can protect Christians in Nigeria from the growing scourge of jihadist persecution. Add your name:
