- Sadly, there are attacks on Christians in different places of India. This causes rising fear and anxiety among Christians in the country, ICC reports.
ICC: "More than 80 incidents of violent attacks, hate speeches, and tensions were reported during the Christmas week across several states of India, putting holiday celebrations under a cloud of fear and hostility.
Most of the incidents have been linked to groups affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and other right-wing Hindu organizations, most notably the Bajrang Dal, a militant wing of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and others." (read the full text):
