"Herre, Gud, himmelske Fader: tack för att Du i och genom Din enfödde Son har uppenbarat Din allsmäktiga kraft, genom att skapa världen, det synliga och det osynliga så övermåttan underbart, och försonat den i synd fallna mänskligheten med Dig själv. Vi ber Dig i Jesu Kristi namn: besök oss dagligen med Ditt evangelium och gör Din kraft i det uppenbar och ljuvlig för oss, så att vi inte avvisar Din frälsning utan lever värdigt Dig och i allt behagar Dig, när vi bär frukt i alla slags goda gärningar och växer till i nåd och kunskap om vår Herre och Frälsare, Jesus Kristus. Amen."
