Gal. 3:23-29
"Innan tron kom hölls vi i fängsligt förvar och var bevakade av lagen, tills tron skulle uppenbaras. Så blev lagen vår övervakare fram till Kristus, för att vi skall förklaras rättfärdiga av tro. Men sedan tron har kommit, står vi inte längre under någon övervakare.
Alla är ni Guds barn genom tron på Kristus Jesus. Alla ni som har blivit döpta till Kristus har blivit iklädda Kristus. Här är inte jude eller grek, slav eller fri, man och kvinna. Alla är ni ett i Kristus Jesus. Om ni nu tillhör honom är ni Abrahams avkomlingar, arvingar enligt löftet."
