"Fräls oss ifrån ondo" - "Jesus, born to set thy people free"

Advent. 

- Kan man sjunga julsånger med gott samvete i dessa tider? Jo, det kan man! Fröjd i Herren är vårt starka vapen mot missmod och motgång, om det så handlar om små motgångar eller större lidande och nöd (med gråt kvävd i bröstet, ni vet).

Paulus och Silas torterades och kastades i fängelse och bad och sjöng ju även lovsånger i fängelset. Murarna rämnade och bojorna föll av. De vittnade om sin tro på Herren Jesus och fångvaktaren med hela sin familj kom till tro. Det blev heller ingen dom eftersom de orättfärdigt hade torterats och fängslats...(Apg. 16:16-40)
