Anti-Christian group destroyed a church and believers houses and properties in Nepal during Christmas

According to The Himalayan Times the persons behind the attack were unidentified and the reason behind the attack unclear, but according to my source: "Rural Christian Society Nepal", the group was identified and the attack was intentionally directed towards the Christians. The Christians are now facing the cold weather in single clothes. My contact and a team has been visiting the village ( Ri -9. Kichet village, Dhading, Nepal) and the persecuted Christians in order to give support: prayer outside the church on the ground.



The Himalayan Times:

"DHADING: An unidentified armed gang torched four houses and a church in Ri VDC of the district on Monday night.

It has been learnt that the houses and the church were completely destroyed in the arson.

According to preliminary investigations, eight to nine unidentified persons were seen in a group in the village on Monday afternoon.

Later they entered the Kichet-based church and attacked the people there with sharp weapons.

They targeted houses of Ganga Lama Tamang, Bahadur Lama Tamang, Bokta Lama and Bikram Lama.

The reason behind the attack is not clear.

DSP Ashok Singh, In-charge of the District Police Office, Dhading said that a police team has been sent to the village to look into the incident. Investigations are underway, police said."
