Former Belarusian presidential candidate Ales Michalevic is still persecuted by Lukashenka's regime

Belarus. The regime wants him to return for new trial and torture? (Torture testimonies). He was also in danger because of Interpol (Interpol failure).

“I remain the last person involved in the case of the 2010 post-election protests. I continue to file complaints to show that I consider myself not guilty. This time I asked to give me grounds for refusal to close the criminal case in accordance with the criminal and procedure code. I received another formal reply: you return home and we will make a decision,”

Charter 97 (read the full text):

"Ales Mikhalevich, as most other presidential candidates, was detained on the night of December 20, 2010. A month later, he was released from the KGB pre-trial jail on his own recognizance. The politician called a press conference and said about torture in the jail. He left Belarus secretly in March and received political asylum in the Czech Republic some weeks later. Mikhalevich was detained several times abroad as a person on the Interpol wanted list. The opposition politician received an official notice in late July 2012 that he had been removed from the Interpol database."
