Ainur Kurmanov awarded with The Liberty Award - Promotion of democray in Kazakhstan

"The ‘Liberty’ Award – is the annual opposition prize given to people who significantly contributed to the development of civil society and promotion of democracy in Kazakhstan. This year the prize was awarded to an independent journalist, Lukpan Akhmedyarov, a human rights activist, and the head of Ar.Rukh.Khak Foundation, Bakhytzhan Toregozhina, the head of the internet project Republic, Irina Petrushova, the head of the public association Talmas and co-deputy of the Kazakhstan Socialist Movement, Ainur Kurmanov, and the opposition politician Zhasaral Kuanyshalin.
