Guds nåd och gåva - The grace of God is Jesus Christ

"Dock är det inte med nåden som med syndafallet. Ty om de många har dött genom en endas fall, så har ännu mycket mer Guds nåd och nådegåva överflödat till de många genom en enda människas nåd, Jesu Kristi nåd.





Inte heller kom gåvan som följd av en endas synd. Domen kom genom en enda och drog med sig fördömelse. Den fria gåvan däremot kom efter mångas överträdelser och ledde till ett frikännande. Ty om en endas fall gjorde att döden fick herravälde genom denne ende, hur mycket mer skall då inte de som mottar den överflödande nåden och rättfärdighetens gåva regera i liv genom denne ende, Jesus Kristus." Rom. 5:15-17
