Tysklands stöd till Belarus och regimens specialstyrkor chockerande - Germany's support to brutal Belarusian special forces shocking

August, 2012. Tysklands dubbelmoral. Double standard. Germany's support to and cooperation with the cruel and brutal Belarusian special forces are shocking and not acceptable.

Det är chockerande att tyska säkerhetsstyrkor i åratal har stött Lukashenkas regim och säkerhetsstyrkor. Tyskland har inte bara utbildat regimens säkerhetsstyrkor, man har även bistått med 200 000 euro till utrustning som datorer, uniformer och teknisk utrustning. Det är fruktansvärt att demokratiska stater stöder diktaturer, säger Natalia Radzina i artikeln. Belarusierna har ju sedan länge fått kämpa med diktatorn Lukashenka och hans godtyckliga styre och brutala polis och tidigare har det också hänt att mänskor bara har försvunnit, oberoende media stängts och journalister har förföljts osv.

Ales Michalevic: "Jag är chockad. I åratal har de tyska säkerhetsstyrkorna stött Lukashenkas regim. Den vitryska oppositionen är upprörd, före detta presidentkandidaten Michalevic kritiserar bristen på samordning mellan inrikesministeriet och utrikesdepartementet i Berlin."

It should be out of the question for Germany to support Belarusian state organs that are involved in violent crack-downs of peaceful demonstrations.
