Belarus.
- Here's an exclusive interview with the exiled Belarusian democratic oppositionist Andrei Sannikov (Андрэ́й Са́ннікаў), made by Michał Kujawski (Kyiv Post’s special correspondent in Warsaw).
Read about who is living in fear, trading political prisoners, a game of bluff involving nuclear weapons and the murky world of Belarusian intelligence operations in Poland.
According to the interview Andrei Sannikov's goals today are: "To support Ukraine – morally, financially, politically – and campaign for political prisoners. He also says: I dream of Belarus in the EU and NATO, which many are afraid of saying because of the Soviet mentality; seeing NATO as a threat, not a peace guarantor.
