Former presidential candidate and opposition leader Mikalai Statkevich was arrested in Minsk on Saturday. It is unclear how long he will stay in detention, his wife Marina Adamovich noted. The politician participated in a rally in Minsk on July 3. The opposition leader called for another rally in the beginning of September.
