Salt och uppståndelsekraft - the immeasurable greatness of God's power

Jesus: "Ni är jordens salt. Men om saltet förlorar sin sälta, hur skall man då göra det salt igen? Det duger bara till att kastas ut och trampas ner av människor." Matt. 5:13

Paulus: "Jag ber att vår Herre Jesu Kristi Gud, härlighetens Fader, skall ge er vishetens och uppenbarelsens Ande, så att ni får en rätt kunskap om honom. Jag ber att era hjärtan skall upplysas, så att ni förstår vilket hopp han har kallat er till och hur rikt på härlighet hans arv är bland de heliga, och hur oerhört stor hans makt är i oss som tror, därför att hans väldiga kraft är verksam. Med denna kraft verkade han i Kristus, när han uppväckte honom från de döda och satte honom på sin högra sida i himlen, över alla furstar och väldigheter, makter och herradömen, ja, över alla namn som kan nämnas inte bara i denna tidsålder utan också i den kommande." Ef. 1:17-21

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet." (Matt. 5:13 ESV)








Saint Paul praying; "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come." (Eph. 1:18-21 ESV)
