Dubbla måttstockar - antisemitism

Finland. 

- Nu måste vi vara vaksamma. Det är skamligt att S-gruppen beslöt att plocka bort vissa israeliska produkter ur sortimentet. Israel är Mellanösterns enda demokrati. Vilken välsignelse! Men man har tex. inte utpekat skurkstater som Iran på samma sätt som man brännmärker Israel. Detta beslut över konsumenternas huvuden har upprört många och saken ventileras i sociala medier. 

Tomas Sandell beskriver i en insändare i Hbl 26.11.2025 två övertramp och att det är i ljuset av dessa två övertramp som man även bör förstå S-gruppens märkliga beslut att sluta sälja israeliska produkter. 

"S-gruppens beslut strider klart mot EU:s handlingsprogram mot antisemitism samt mot den allmänt vedertagna IHRA-definitionen av antisemitism som vårt lands regering har antagit där dubbla måttstockar i relation till landet Israel klart definieras som judehat."

- Själv tror jag att de flesta kristna dessutom vet att "Israel är annorlunda eller speciellt" för oss kristna och att judarna är Guds egendomsfolk och ögonsten. De är "roten som bär oss" alltså våra rötter, de är våra fäder och ja, deras öde är en del av historien och vår framtid. Många inser detta. Jag såg en bra kommentar på facebook om att man "i praktiken inte helt kan skilja på landet och folket, eftersom Israel grundades av FN just som en skyddshamn för judarna som var förföljda i stora delar av världen. Hatet mot judar riktar sig i praktiken ofta mot staten Israel." Katastrofen Förintelsen får vi aldrig glömma bort!

Dying to live - Vulnerability of innocent people that have no defense

- Today, like many others, I received a message about an award-winning, important film that has now been released on YouTube for everyone to see. 

It is about the full documentary "Dying to live" (1:11:00) that was released earlier this year and has been seen by thousands around the world. The powerful film, which shows how anti-Semitism is on the rise, is about the October 7 massacre 2023. You will see archive photos and interviews on-the-ground.

- An IDF-major living in Chicago, immediately traveled to Israel when he heard about the attack. He says: "I was shocked by what I saw, I knew I had a role to play... I was horrified by what my eyes saw... 24 hours after the attack the streets were still full of bodies, at the Nova festival we saw bodies that were burnt, tied, corpses... It brings back that same memory of vulnerability of no defense, of something that is unheard of, violence on innocent people that have no defense. For me as a Jew, that brings back memories of the Holocaust, of the stories that I heard. I heard first testimonies from Holocaust survivors that were telling us how, as children, they were taken away from their homes, and that was my personal grandparents and that brings back that memory 'cause in the same way those kids were, without any mercy kidnapped from their homes. That's things that we built the State of Israel in order to live and proper and live good productive lives, but also so we have the ability to defend our lives and that's what we're about. We're about choosing life."

In the documentary, a young woman asks women's organizations around the world: "Why be silent about the facts that kidnapped women were subjected to sexual violence?"
