The Song of Names

 Shalom!

"The Song of Names" is a very touching movie that I have seen.

- Martin Simmonds has been haunted throughout his life by the mysterious disappearance of his “brother” and best friend, a Polish Jewish virtuoso violinist, Dovidl Rapaport, who vanished shortly before the 1951 London debut concert that would have launched his brilliant career...

The film sheds light on the Holocaust in a slightly different but very moving way. Watch the movie if you have the opportunity!

"A triumphant combination of history, artistry and deep pathos. A gripping and vital contribution: a reminder of all that was lost, all that remained, and all that remains to be done." (Rabbi David Wolpe)
