"The local authorities were scared by the fact that opposition activists helped the priest with the site clean-up.

Abbot of the Old Believer Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in the village of Bahushouka, Babruisk district Uladzimir Varabyou was threatened by the district executive committee with the KGB because the activists of the steering committee for creating the party “Belarusian Christian Democracy” helped to clean the territory of the parish back in April.
