Well-known human rights defender Вадим Курамшин (Vadim Kuramshin, Kazakhstan) is subjected to continued and ongoing provocations in prison. He is isolated and not allowed to make phone calls. It is obvious that the regime wants to destroy him.

Human rights lawyer Vadim Kuramshin is awarded with the Ludovic-Traireux prize 2013. He is a Front line defender.

He was unanimously acquitted by a jury in his first trial, but then rearrested under the same charges and tried without a jury, where Vadim himself was not allowed a defence lawyer or any representation.
