Light in the darkness

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages..."

There is light in the darkness. Every shadow tells about the light.

Genesis 1:3-4 "God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness."

Light for my path (Daily devotion)

"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" (Revelation 7:9-10 ESV)

Hymn  ELH 554:1,8  For All the Saints

For all the saints who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest. Alleluia! Alleluia!

From earth's wide bounds, from ocean's farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
Singing to Father, Son, and Holy Ghost: Alleluia! Alleluia!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, in Your grace and mercy, You desire all to be saved, from every nation. Help me and all believers to help spread Your Word to all the world, that many more may hear and believe. In Jesus' name I pray.  Amen."

Faith. Light and hope in the darkness (home is a piece of heaven) ...once uprooted. :
"bury me in this very cemetery, under this very pine, with a stunning view of sunrise in one direction and a village landscape in another"
